Who we are and how to reach us
Y2Meta ("we", "us") runs this website and its free YouTube video downloader. If you have a question about this policy, write to us at contact@y2meta.hair.
What we process
When you paste a link, it is sent to our server and to a processing partner only to read the video details and find the download links for the file you choose.
We do not keep the links you paste, the files you create or a download history. You do not need an account, so we do not ask for your name, email or password to use the tool.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga), and Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
You can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. We still show no ads, you do not need an account, and we do not keep the links you paste or the files you download.
Hosting and delivery
Like every website, our hosting and delivery providers may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type. They use it to deliver the pages and to keep the service secure.
Images and files from other servers
Video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube's image servers. The file you download comes straight from the servers that host the video, not from us. Those servers can see the technical data that any web request includes.
Emails you send us
If you email us or use the contact form, we use your message and email address only to reply to you.
Children
Y2Meta is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or ask any other privacy question. Write to contact@y2meta.hair and we will answer as soon as we can.

We may update this policy when the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
